Hi gang,
I recently read a book by one of our Walhalla classmates that reflects a LOT of local expressions and perspectives. The girl's name is Cathy Anderson, and some of you may know her. Her bio says she became some big time law professor in Charlotte. Anyway, she writes under the name of Cathy Pickens, and the name of the book is Hog Wild. It is set in a thinly disguised Walhalla, and you will recognize many of the settings. Since I have been expatriated from Seneca for many years, it was very nice for me to be able to go back to how it was in the '70s when I read the book. I got my copy from Amazon, I don't know if the book stores carry it or not. Now, for the fine print, I have no commercial interest in this book or author, and YES, I can read, to the surprise of many of you. :-)
