All You Need to Know About the Reunion - Saturday, June 27
It was a HUGE success! Thank you for showing up early and cooperating with the "people herding" we had to put you through. Catching up with old friends was the highlight of the event, but the resurrection of The Music Machine was awesome. Many of you did not witness the video presentations that kicked off the dance because you were in the Grand Hallway, but we will post them on the site as soon as we can. Those of you who saw them will want to view them again and again. Thank you, Alan Brooks, for sharing your talent with us.
A lot of you took pictures at the reunion. Please share them with us so we can post them on the site. The professional photos taken at the event should be mailed this week, and we will post them on the site as soon as we can, as well.
The Class of '79 won the coveted Spirit Stick for the loudest yell, whick makes sense because they had the largest crowd with 94 attendees! Congratulations Class of '79! (The last I saw of the beautifully adorned blue and gold stick with award ribbons attached to it, Troy Rosier and Sandra Grant Sloan were fighting over it. One of them took it home for safe-keeping.)
About 30 of you registered and paid for the reunion, but were unable to attend. You missed a fantastic evening, and we missed seeing you. I hope you at least got to view us on the live video feed that was posted on the home page, and that all is well with you and your family.
