Lisa McAlister (Smith) - Class Of 1980

Lisa McAlister Smith, 46 of 146 Emerald Road, Seneca, S.C. passed away Friday July 4, 2008 at the Cottingham House. She was the daughter of Bill and Hazel Entrekin McAlister. She was the wife of Anthony “Herman” Smith of the home. She is also survived by two daughters, Mollie and Mary Grace Smith also of the home. One sister, Janice Nimmons of Seneca, S.C. She was a Western Carolina University graduate in the class of 1985, the former owner of Heartwarmer’s Florist and Gift shop, was part of the family business, Parkway Campers, active member of Trinity Baptist Church, member of the Delta Zeta Sorority, Golden Corner Women’s Society, and a past member of the Junior Woman’s Club. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday July 6, 2008 at 2:00pm at Trinity Baptist Church. With burial in Heritage Memorial Gardens The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Saturday July 5, 2008 at the funeral home. *The family requests that memorials be made to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, 210 W.S. 6th St., Seneca, S.C. 29678 or Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Rd., Seneca, S.C. 29672.

Steve Smith

One of the sweetest girls I knew in my four years at SHS. Almost never saw her without a smile. If you were lucky enough to be her friend then you were truly blessed.

Paula Paradise '81 Lambert

Lisa was ALWAYS so sweet and kind. I know she is missed by her family.
